Over $1,600 was brought in through the Sarah’s HOPE Benefit Concert. The fundraiser was held at North Grenville District High School last Thursday. All money raised is going towards a new kitchen for the Gatwe Primary School near Embu, Kenya. Teacher Meredith Mott says the night was a success.
Fundraising efforts by Sarah’s HOPE have provided new classrooms for the Gatwe Primary School. The focus has now shifted to a new kitchen, which will cost about $8,000. Mott says Sarah’s HOPE is selling t-shirts to help bring in more money.
