Tickets are selling fast for the Winchester District Memorial Hospital Foundation Disco Gala. The event is set for June 16 and tickets are half sold. The cost is $125 each and all proceeds go to the hospital’s foundation, which uses the money to buy essential medical equipment not funded by the provincial government. Events Manager Cindy Ault Peters says the gala has lots to offer.
The gala will be held at the Joel Steele Community Centre in Winchester. The Groovy Little Orchestra band will be playing ‘70s disco music beginning at 7:00pm. Peters says community support keeps the hospital foundation going.
The gala brings in between $70,000 and $80,000 for the hospital annually. To buy tickets, contact the foundation directly by calling 613-774-2422 ext. 6172.
