A local service group is taking over Canada Day festivities from the municipality. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Leeds and Grenville will be planning North Grenville’s patriotic celebrations this July 1. Executive Director Jane Fullarton says there are many volunteer opportunities.
Big Brothers Big Sisters will benefit by being out in the community and running the concession stands to bring in funds. The organization supports hundreds of local kids. Fullarton says community support will make all the difference.
