The Upper Canada District School Board has been hard at work on a number of construction projects. The first asphalt lift and inner field topsoil work is progressing at the North Grenville District High School running track. Merrickville Public School received an update to their Learning Commons, as well as a fenced play yard for Full Day Kindergarten students. The Superintendent of Human Resources, Information Tech and Facilities, Jeremy Hobbs tweeted that designs for new schools in Cornwall and Kemptville are 25% completed, with first drafts of elevation drawings expected next week.
