$50,000 up for grabs for property owners in downtown Kemptville

Property owners in downtown Kemptville can apply for matching dollars for beautification projects. The Community Improvement Plan (CIP) program is open to applications until May 31. Economic Development Coordinator Holly Nyenkamp says the program is open to properties within the improvement plan area.

The program launched in 2014 and was established as a five-year program by the municipality. It was expanded last year to include the Rideau-Sanders triangle. The annual budget was increased from $20,000 to $50,000 for the final two years of the program. Nyemkamp says the program helps beautify the downtown core.

Applications can be found on the municipal website by visiting northgrenville.ca. If you have any questions about the program, contact the municipality directly by calling 613-258-9569.
