A local camp got a financial boost thanks to 100 Women Who Care North Grenville. Rideau Hill Camp received a donation of over $4,500 from the group during their second annual meeting on May 3.
Camp volunteers and staff explained the memorable summer experience they provide to hundreds of kids each year thanks to donations. About 60 women attended the meeting, held at eQuinelle Golf Club.
Door prizes were donated by Joanne Lincoln of Grenville Mutual Insurance and Diana Fisher of Farmwife Writing & Editing Services. Representatives from the three nominated charities provided an update on their activities so the members could make an informed vote.
Group founder Ashley Vincent says “It’s such a great organization to belong to, knowing we are doing something great for the community – no matter who wins.”
