New play structure for Kemptville

A new play structure is in the works for Kemptville. The municipality is spending $25,000 to replace the play structure on Bowen Crescent. Construction will begin next week. Director of parks and recreation Mark Guy says the municipality is trying to replace one outdated play structure each year.

Riverside Park will also be getting some new equipment thanks to a $5,000 grant. The money will be used to buy two pieces of equipment going in beside the play structure. Guy says the municipality is considering Crozier Park for next year’s project.

Both projects are being done by Ottawa based company Playground Planners. For more information, visit northgrenville.ca.
