On September 4th Grenville County OPP received a report of a stolen vehicle. A yellow 1994 Chrysler LLG with Ontario licence plate number BRICAN17 had been stolen from Water St. in the Town of Prescott. The vehicle was last seen parked at approx. 7:30 pm. Just after 10:00 pm Leeds OPP were advised of a vehicle fire on an access road that runs parallel to the CN Tracks off Lyn Rd. The vehicle was fully engulfed before being extinguished by the Elizabethtown-Kitley fire department. This was the same vehicle reported stolen. The incident remains under investigation.
