You can take steps to make sure your car isn’t broken into.
That’s the message from OPP Constable Shawn Peever, who wants you to make sure you lock your doors. He says thieves will often just move on if a vehicle is locked.
Peever says you should also be in the habit of locking your car if you’re at home.
Peever also says you should always lock your home as well as your shed and garage if you’re going out.
