Woman Responsible for OPP Visiting Fred Street Three Times in Three Days

One woman was responsible for the police making three trips to one street in three days.

On April 11th the OPP say just after 3:30am their officers responded to reports of a motor vehicle being stolen from a home on Fred Street in North Dundas. They discovered a Chrysler Van had been taken from the residence without the owner’s permission. According to police they located the vehicle quickly and placed a woman under arrest. She was charged with taking a motor vehicle without consent and scheduled for a court appearance.

Just after 5:30pm on the 12th police say they responded to a complaint of a stolen motor vehicle on Fred Street. This time a Pontiac Firebird was taken without the owner’s permission and the same woman was arrested. She was charged with taking a motor vehicle without consent according to the OPP but this time help in custody pending a bail hearing.

Finally on the 13th just after 7:00pm OPP officers attended a Fred Street residence after a disturbance was reported. The police say they found the same woman at the scene and in breach of her release conditions. She was arrested and charged with failing to comply with recognizance.
