Boundaries are being re-drawn and the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville want all their residents to be aware.
The counties, along with the City of Brockville and Township of Elizabeth-Kitley, will be holding a joint public meeting on Wednesday so they can publicly discuss a land transfer. The proposed boundary adjustment would see property annexed from both Leeds-Grenville and Elizabeth-Kitley given to the City of Brockville. Interested parties are encouraged to attend and have their opinion on the proposal heard.
The lands in question include the St. Lawrence Lodge and Brockville Wastewater Treatment Facility. The meeting is expected to run from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday March 21st at the Brockville Convention Centre.
