Addition approved for North Grenville District High School

North Grenville District High School is going to be getting more students.

The Upper Canada District School Board has announced the Ministry of Education has agreed to support construction, which will create space for another 221 students. UCDSB Chair Jeff McMillan says the province has allowed students to continue their learning journey within the same building.

The addition is expected to be around 2800 square metres and will bring give the school room for 912 pupils. The ministry will contribute over $6.5 million. Stephen Silwa, Director of Education, thanks the ministry and says the school district is thrilled with the support of their long-term plans.
