Due to the threat of freezing rain, STEO has cancelled all school bus and special vehicle transportation for the counties served by the UCDSB and the CDSBEO. The French Catholic and Public boards have also cancelled buses to their schools.
All of the schools will remain open throughout all of the above mentioned boards.
Environment Canada has issued a Freezing Rain Warning which says that we could begin to see precipitation falling throughout Leeds & Grenville by mid-afternoon today, starting as a mix of snow and ice pellets but then changing to freezing rain through the evening and overnight.
