Fans of local craft beer are going to have more options soon.
Snap’d 1000 Islands is reporting that a 30,000 litre brewery is being planned for downtown Brockville. The owners of Barley Mow, Lucas Spencer and Jason Curry, are responsible for the idea of filling the old Dave Jones Sports building with suds. Construction is expected to begin in the spring and the owners say they would like to be open by the fall.
Once operational the brewery is expected to employ 30 staff member and is expected to offer beers with names linked to the region.
