Ottawa Police are investigating a stabbing incident that happened near the intersection of Frank and Elgin Streets early Saturday morning. At about 02:30am August 23rd, officers and paramedics responded to calls of a person having been stabbed. 21-year-old Jabeir JEMMIE was transported to hospital with life threatening injuries. The victim later passed away in hospital. The incident is being investigated by the Ottawa Police Major Crime Section. A photo of a possible witness is posted; police would like to speak with this gentleman.
