With bow hunting season now underway in the Kemptville area, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry wants you to be safe.
Bancroft District Conservation Officer Shane Brownlee says it’s important for bow hunters to know what they can wear during the archery season.
Remember to check bow hunting start and end dates before going out. Start dates in the areas around Kemptville are staggered
Brownlee also wants to remind hunters that you need written or verbal permission from a landowner before hunting on private property, or else it’s illegal.
