Environment Canada has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch in addition to the ongoing Heat Warning.
The organization says conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms this afternoon as a cold front approaches. Environment Canada says the main threat with these thunderstorms are very strong wind gusts.
Environment Canada says you should continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by the organization.
