A blood donor clinic in honour of Dustin Littau is set for October 2nd.
Littau passed away from cancer earlier this year on July 19th at the age of 31. Littau’s wife Becky says that during the treatment there was a great need for blood.
Becky says she saw first hand the struggle the Canadian Blood Donor Clinic faces when it comes to keeping supply on hand.
Becky says the experience has changed her view on the importance of giving blood.
During the clinic at the North Grenville Municipal Centre, there will also be a push to educate the public on the stem cell one-match program.
