Renfrew OPP looking for leads on stolen coin collection worth $50,000

Ottawa Valley OPP are asking for tips from the public after a $50,000 dollar coin collection was stolen from a property near Renfrew. Investigators believe the break-in happened between noon and 3pm on May 9th after a thief broke into a safe in a garage on Highway 132. The stolen coins included Olympic coins, and coins with animals printed on them. All were Canadian currency. Pembroke-Renfrew County Crimestoppers is asking anyone with leads on this case to contact police.
