A group of veterans is calling on the city of Ottawa to give the Strandherd-Armstrong Bridge a permanent name after the Vimy Ridge battle of 1917. The group would like the name to be Vimy Bridge. They say it would be a way to pay tribute to the men and women who served our country in the First World War. Nepean-Carleton MP Pierre Poilievre says he supports the suggestion.
