All school bus and special vehicle transportation has been cancelled for the day for all counties served by the Upper Canada District School Board and the Catholic District School Board of eastern Ontario. You can find more information at STEO’s website.
All of the school will remain open and we are still awaiting word on the status of the buses for Ottawa-area schools.
Environment Canada has issued a Freezing Rain Warning for this afternoon, saying we should expect a mix of snow and ice pellets which will quickly change to freezing rain, before changing back to snow through the overnight. If you’d like to read the warning you can find it by clicking this link.
