Ottawa Police say no charges have been laid in the case of NHL player Claude Giroux. On July 2nd several media outlets reported the 26-year-old Philadelphia Flyers captain spent Canada Day night in jail after grabbing a male police officer on the butt. The Media Relations Office say they cannot confirm or deny the subject of a police investigation unless charges are laid. The MRO went on to say that in this case, no charges will be laid and they have advised the Philadelphia Flyers of the outcome of the investigation.
