A viking ship from Norway landed in Brockville Friday. A young Englishwoman named Jemimah was one of the shipmates. She said they had to be prepared for icebergs, rough seas and any kind of weather.
The Draken is the world’s largest Viking ship. It will be in Brockville until Sunday. The Draken Harald Hårfagreset set sail from her homeport of Haugesund, Norway in April. The plan was to cross the North Atlantic and explore the world as the Vikings did so long ago.
