A Smiths Falls man has been charged with sexual assault of five students at an Ottawa elementary school. On March 4, 2014 Ottawa Police was notified by the Principal of allegations from several students of inappropriate behaviour by the custodian. The man was immediately reassigned to the night shift during an investigation. The Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Section conducted an investigation and on Wednesday, June 25th, 44-year-old Daniel SABOURIN was charged with five counts of Sexual interference and five counts of Sexual assault. Investigators are concerned that there could be further victims.
