Two people are facing possession charges after a traffic stop in Augusta Township. Just after noon on Saturday, June 21st, police stopped a 1997 GMC Sierra pickup truck on the 6th Concession Road because the driver wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. Following a short investigation, the 19-year-old female passenger from Brockville was charged with possession of Percocet and was turned over to Brockville City Police for an outstanding warrant. The 34-year-old driver, a man from Prescott, was charged with possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.
