A race car driver has been killed at the Cornwall Motor Speedway. It happened just after 8pm on Saturday, June 22nd. Twenty-three-year-old Danny Lefebvre of St-Louis De Gonzague, Quebec struck a cement barrier during the race. He was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead. The OPP Forensic Identification Services Unit and the SDG detachment members are assisting the Ministry of Labour in their investigation. A post mortem examination is being scheduled.
