An incident that happened during a youth hockey tournament has resulted in charges for an Ottawa teen. On January 17th at the Richcraft Sensplex, a player suffered a concussion and was treated at a local hospital.
Three days later, police received a complaint and launched an investigation into the injury. As the hockey tournament was designated “non-contact”, the other player involved was charged with assault causing bodily harm.
