Buses are cancelled in the region for a second day in a row. The cancellation comes as people continue to dig out from yesterday’s snowiest day on record for the region. In Ottawa the previous record was set in February of 1895 at just under 46 centimeters. By the time all was said and done, the Ottawa airport measured 51.2 centimeters of snowfall yesterday. Due to the snowstorm, some roads are still partly snow covered and partly ice covered.
