The Upper Canada District School Board is promoting “Unplug and Play” this week. From March 24th to the 30th, students in the UCDSB will be encouraged to join other Canadian families who have taken the pledge to #UnplugAndPlay for at least 60 minutes every day. According to ParticipAction, the average Canadian child spends 8 hours per day in front of a screen. As our main means of communication, it can be difficult to unplug and tune out.
