A woman is still in custody, following an escape attempt in bail court.
According to police a Brockville woman attempted to escape custody while being led to the court’s prisoner’s box. Police say she turned to speak with someone seated in the gallery before running towards the court room door. They add that she was quickly apprehended before she could get out of the court.
Police say the young woman will now remain in custody until she appears in court again for a bail hearing at a future date.
