Auxiliary hands over $65,000 to KDH for new equipment

The Kemptville District Hospital Auxiliary has handed over a sizable donation to the hospital to help buy some new equipment.

The auxiliary managed to donate $65,000 to the hospital.

Auxiliary President Connie Parsons says the money is being directed towards four items.

Parsons says the fourth item is equipment to help monitor carbon dioxide levels for patients in the ER.

The auxiliary is also celebrating its volunteers during National Volunteer Week. Members of the auxiliary managed to put in close to 12,000 volunteers hours in 2016.

Parsons says they could use more volunteers. If you’d like to get involved, visit www.kdh.on.ca.
