The Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario has released information about its 2016/2017 financial estimates.
Manager of Finance Ashley Hutchinson says the board is expected to spend a total of $181-million this year between operation and capital costs.
The board is also predicting an operating surplus of about $2,600 at the end of the year.
This school year, the board has seen an increase of about 1 per cent to its student body.
