The Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario as voted in a new Board Chair.
Todd Lalonde, the trustee for the city of Cornwall and Glengarry County, will start immediately as new Board Chairman.
This will be Lalonde’s first term as chairman, and will take over for Grenville County and Elizabethtown Kitley trustee Brent Laton. Laton had previously served for five consecutive terms.
Brockville, Smiths Falls, and Leeds County trustee Robin Reil was also elected as vice-chairman at the same meeting.
